John Winther, Managing Partner

John founded Harvest Properties in 2002. Currently, he provides leadership for all operations and strategic initiatives for Harvest, and actively directs its investment and development decisions.

Before founding Harvest, John was a senior vice president at Spieker Properties, responsible for an eight million square foot portfolio as well as regional investment and development activities. John also helped launch the IPO for Spieker Properties. He has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience, from sourcing and structuring through managing, leasing and disposition.

John holds a Bachelor's degree with honors from Brown University, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, where he lectures in the graduate business program. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Tom Wagner, Partner

Tom is one of Harvest's original founders—with us since the beginning in 2002. He is responsible for sourcing development and acquisition opportunities and, like other Harvest Partners, Tom provides leadership for a vital portion of the assets under our guidance.

Previously, Tom oversaw asset management and the development of three million square feet of San Francisco Bay Area industrial, R&D and office space for Equity Office Properties. With more than 20 years of experience, Tom has worked in retail development, commercial brokerage and corporate real estate management. From the initial sourcing and structuring through the eventual disposal, Tom lends a seasoned point of view.

Tom holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Joss Hanna, Partner

Joss has been a valuable member of the Harvest Properties team since its founding in 2002. He is responsible for sourcing new acquisitions and guiding the performance of over two million square feet of office property in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Peninsula markets.

Previously, Joss was a project manager for Equity Office Properties, responsible for the management and planned disposition of three million square feet of industrial and R&D properties. He has over 10 years of commercial real estate experience, including sourcing and structuring, managing and leasing, and asset disposition.

Joss holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado and a Master's degree from California Polytechnic State University.

Awais Mughal, Partner

Awais joined Harvest Properties in 2003. He is responsible for sourcing new acquisitions and guiding the performance of the assets under his direct control and leadership.

Previously, Awais was a senior asset manager for ZKS Real Estate Partners, responsible for the management and planned disposition of 1.3 million square feet of office and R&D properties. Awais also held several positions with Carr America Realty Corporation. Awais has deep experience in commercial real estate sourcing, structuring, managing, leasing and disposal—over 20 years of know-how that makes him an essential component of our success.

Awais is a past president of the San Francisco chapter of NAIOP and is currently on the advisory committee to the board. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Williams College.

Sarah Irving, Partner

Sarah joined the Harvest Properties team in 2004. Sarah oversees the Finance/Accounting team and Harvest's Corporate Operations. In the past, Sarah assisted in the acquisition, integration, and asset management of Harvest's commercial properties portfolio.

Before joining Harvest, Sarah was a property manager for The John Buck Company in Chicago, where she oversaw the opening of UBS Tower, a 1.3 million square foot Class A high-rise office building, and assisted in the management of numerous other CBD assets. Sarah has over 19 years of commercial real estate experience including leasing, construction management, asset management, and financial analysis.

Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania.

Griff King, Partner

Griff joined the Harvest Properties team in 2006 and is responsible for the acquisition, integration, and asset management of new commercial properties.

Griff's background includes experience as an investment associate at Stanford Management Company, where he and two directors managed more than $2.5 billion of real estate and natural resource investments for the $12 billion Stanford University endowment. Griff also spent more than three years at Robertson Stephens as a senior associate in investment banking and institutional sales.

Griff holds a Bachelor's degree from Princeton University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Kathryn Collins, Partner

Kathryn joined the Harvest Properties team in 2008. She is responsible for the acquisition, integration and asset management of new commercial properties.

In her prior experience, Kathryn worked as an Associate and Financial Analyst at Equus Real Estate Partners, Ltd. (formerly Berwind Property Group, Ltd.), a value-add real estate private equity fund manager. At Equus, Kathryn focused on the acquisition and asset management of office and industrial assets. Kathryn began her career at Real Estate Research Corporation as a Research Analyst, completing property valuations, market analyses and feasibility studies.

Kathryn holds a Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Miami University and also obtained a Master's Degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a member of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of NAIOP and was awarded the chapter’s Developing Leader of the Year Award in 2014. Kathryn now serves on the board of the chapter’s Developing Leaders Program.

Anna Chu, Asset Director

Anna joined the Harvest Properties team in 2005. Currently, she is responsible for 2.8 million square feet of commercial assets in the North Bay, East Bay and Silicon Valley markets. Her focus is on asset management, construction management, leasing and marketing for multiple clients.

In her prior experience, Anna held the positions of General Manager and Regional Operations Manager for Equity Office Properties where she oversaw a portfolio of nine million square feet of Class A office and R&D real estate in California's South Bay. Anna also played a key role managing the company's R&D and industrial portfolios in the Silicon Valley. She has over 17 years of commercial real estate experience including construction management, property operations, and financial analysis.

Anna holds her California Real Estate License, an RPA designation and earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of San Francisco.

Christine Scheerer, Asset Director

Christine joined the Harvest Properties team in 2007. She is responsible for the financial, operational, and service performance of 1.5 million square feet of office space in the San Francisco Peninsula market.

To that important task, Christine brings prior experience as asset manager of a portfolio of high profile properties at Lowe Enterprises. She also oversaw a three million square foot portfolio at Spieker Properties, where she negotiated lease transactions, managed property operations, and oversaw capital improvement projects.

Christine holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Jenny Naab, Asset Director

Jenny joined the Harvest Properties team in 2016 and is currently responsible for oversight of office and industrial properties located in the East Bay. Her focus is on asset management, construction management, leasing, and land entitlements for multiple clients.

In her prior experience, Jenny was the Vice President of Real Estate for Laird Norton Properties, a seventh generation family owned real estate investment firm, in which she oversaw a national portfolio of industrial properties and a JV portfolio of Class A office and mixed-use properties located in Seattle, Portland, Denver and Salt Lake City. Prior to Laird Norton, Jenny played a key role in acquiring industrial and R&D real estate in the Bay Area for First Industrial Realty Trust. She has over 13 years of commercial real estate experience in asset management, acquisitions, development, land entitlements, and construction management.

Jenny holds a Master’s of Science in Finance, M.B.A, and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Loyola University of Maryland. She is a member of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of NAIOP and also sits on a NAIOP National Forum.

Elaine Dell'Aquila, Project Director

Elaine joined Harvest in October, 2013 and comes to us with extensive commercial real estate experience, most notably, in San Francisco managing and leasing Class A high rises. She brings to us her deep knowledge of best practices in property and construction management, leasing, and customer service.

Elaine holds a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Hayward. She is a licensed California salesperson and holds her RPA/FMA designation from BOMA, of which she is an active member in San Francisco.

Amy Walchek, Operations Director

Amy has been a valued member of the Harvest Properties team since 2007. In her current role, Amy is responsible for overseeing the financial, operational, and service performance of Harvest’s East and North Bay portfolios, comprised of approximately 3.5M square feet of Office and Industrial product.

Amy holds a Bachelor's degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and is working toward obtaining her RPA designation through BOMA.

Gina Zucker, Operations Director

Gina joined Harvest Properties in 2006 and currently runs capital improvements as well as oversees the operational and financial performance of roughly 1 million square feet of Class A office space within our San Francisco Peninsula Portfolio. With over 14 years of experience in commercial real estate, Gina’s emphasis is on operations, budgeting and forecasting, repositions, property transitions, leasing, and construction management.

Gina earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Finance from Notre Dame de Namur University.

Sarah Mancuso, Operations Director

Sarah joined Harvest Properties in 2017 and is responsible for all property management activity across Harvest Properties’ South Bay portfolio.

Prior to joining Harvest, Sarah was responsible for asset management for a portfolio of luxury hospitality assets valued at over $1 billion. With over 15 years of real estate experience, Sarah has also held various accounting positions with both Hines Interests and Broadreach Capital Partners and started her career in public accounting working for Ernst & Young’s San Francisco assurance practice.

Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Marquette University and a Master’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. She is an inactive CPA and a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Shelly Riggle, Controller

As Controller for Harvest Properties since 2008, Shelly is responsible for all corporate and property accounting functions. She brings over 20 years of accounting and commercial real estate experience to her critical position.

Prior to Harvest, Shelly served as controller for Trizec Properties Inc., a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), with assets of $5 billion and revenues of $850 million. Her responsibilities included financial reporting and regional consolidation for a portfolio of 39 buildings comprising more than 20 million square feet of office space.

Shelly received a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting from West Texas A&M University. She is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant and members of the CalCPA and the AICPA.

Angelynne Yee, Assistant Controller

Angelynne Yee joined Harvest Properties in 2014 as Assistant Controller, bringing with her 20 years of experience in the accounting field, most of them in the Commercial Real Estate Industry.

Prior to joining Harvest, Angelynne served as the Controller for Colliers International, overseeing the accounting function for over 14 million square feet of office, industrial and retail properties in Northern California and Nevada. She also worked for AMB Property Corporation (now Prologis) as the Financial Manager and Corporate Accounting Manager.

Angelynne received her Accounting degree from San Francisco State University.

Blair Volckmann, Director

Blair joined Harvest Properties in 2010 and is an integral part of the company's acquisitions team. He is responsible for providing financial analysis and sourcing of new investments. Blair works closely with Harvest's partners in all aspects of operating and expanding the firm's portfolio, including investment selection, financings, and dispositions.

Prior to joining Harvest, Blair spent two and a half years in Eastdil Secured's San Francisco office underwriting more than $4 billion of office, retail, and industrial transactions.

Blair holds a Bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University. He is a licensed California salesperson and a member of the Urban Land Institute and National Association of Office and Industrial Properties.

Shane Gilroy, Associate Director

Shane joined Harvest Properties in 2012. As a member of Harvest's acquisition team, Shane's primary responsibilities include underwriting potential investments and supporting Harvest's partners during the acquisition and disposition process.

Prior to joining Harvest, Shane spent two years as a portfolio manager for Direxion Shares in New York City. While at Direxion Shares, Shane was accountable for the daily trading and cash management responsibilities of portfolios totaling $600 million of exposure.

Shane holds a Bachelor's degree from Lehigh University where he was captain of the men's golf team.

Chris Wilhelmy, Associate Director

Chris joined Harvest Properties in 2012. As a Project Manager, Chris is responsible for coordinating financial and operational due diligence for acquisition and disposition projects.

Chris's primary focus involves the comprehensive analysis and underwriting of new and existing investment properties.

Chris holds a Bachelor's degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
